Next Event - Wednesday July 15th

Next week's meeting of the OLLI Cinema Club is Wednesday, July 15, from 2 to 5pm at the Rohnert Park-Cotati Library, which is located at 6250 Lynn Condé Way in Rohnert Park. Once you arrive at the Library, go to the Armando Flores Meeting Room, which is located just inside the main entrance. There is no charge for the meeting and free parking is available at the Library.

For this meeting we have voted to see and discuss WINTER'S BONE (2010). In WINTER’S BONE (2010) An unflinching Ozark mountain girl hacks through dangerous mountain terrain as she hunts down her drug-dealing father while trying to keep her family intact. The film was directed by Debra Granik. This was the breakout role for 20-year-old Jennifer Lawrence. Roger Ebert says the film is, “Spectacular for its humanity, austere beauty and heart-stopping urgency.” It’s rated R for strong, gritty scenes & given a high rating of 94% from the critics on the Rotten tomatoes website.

Don't forget to bring a sweater or jacket in case the temperature in the Library is chilly. Thanks for your continued support of the Cinema Club.
